  1. Short: Cool Essence II Space examples
  2.  
  3. This image is a demonstration of the "Space" category of textures in
  4. Essence Volume II, a library of algorithmic textures for Imagine.
  5. Each letter has different Space texture(s) on it, showing the variety
  6. of effects that can be produced.
  7.  
  8. The textures used on the letters are Plasma, Radial Machinery,
  9. CylindHullplate, LatLonLones, Cyclone, Hullplate, Machinery, and
  10. Planetrings.
  11.  
  12. The background is a single, large, flat plane with the Burnish texture
  13. applied to it.
  14.  
  15. This image took 1 hour, 41 minutes to raytrace on a 25Mhz A3000 with a
  16. 68030. No touchup was done other than JPEG conversion using ADPro.
